New Chelsea signing Kai Havertz gave his post-match thoughts after he helped the Blues to a comfortable 3-1 win away to Brighton in our opening Premier League fixture.
Havertz admits to be tired after a tough game against Brighton, The German midfielder had little time to train with the team after signing contract with Frank Lampard side.
“I think it was a very tough game, very difficult because of long holiday; I just train for like five to six days with the team so i think the match went well.”
” I am very happy and glad to make my debut and hopefully I will play more of these games.
I think the Premier league is tougher than the Bundesliga, I saw that in training i saw that in the game as well, but I am happy to play and hopefully next week I will continue.”
Kai Havertz drops his thoughts as Chelsea prepare to battle the defending champions next weekend.
“Of course its one of the best team in the world, we show respect but we’re very great team as well; So I think it will be a very hard game for us but for them also, we will try our best and we will work hard and I think we will have a big chance to take points.”
Conor Gallagher Set To Join West Brom.
Conor Gallagher is set to join West Brom on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
Gallagher, 20, enjoyed a breakthrough season last year thanks to successful loan spells with Charlton Athletic and Swansea City in the Championship. It was expected he would step up into the Premier League and that looks like happening with the Baggies.
The report states Bilic’s relationship with Lampard – which stems from their time as team-mates at West Ham United – helped West Brom secure the midfielder on loan.
Bilic’s side started their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Leicester City on Sunday.
