Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard held his pre match press conference ahead of Liverpool clash on Sunday.

Chelsea manager cleared the air between him and Liverpool Jurgen Klopp, talks about Eduoard Mendy updates and Timo Werner and Kai Havertz playing positions.

When asked of Players availability ahead of Liverpool clash. 

‘Ben Chilwell is not ready for the game, and Christian Pulisic is not ready for the game,’ started Lampard when asked about their availability.

‘We’re hope they’re training and progressing over the next week or so.

‘Hakim Ziyech is also not ready for the game, same story. Timo Werner is fit.

‘Thiago has been training with us for the last three or four days. We are just working with him on his fitness at the moment, so Liverpool will come too soon for him.’

Frank Lampard was asked if he thinks that the new boys are in any right position at the moment.

“We’ve just played one game, they both have flexibility in how they play for their former clubs; Kai Havertz played probably pretty much of his games as a right winger, a No.10 on occasion, he is a No.9, No.8 early in his career. ”

“Timo Werner played as a left winger, Top striker for both country and club; so of course we will try to find their right balance in the team and they’re going to ride a lot”.
