Chelsea MatchDay: Frank Lampard Thoughts, Post Match Interview And Timo Werner Performance.

Chelsea crashed at home after they suffered defeat from the Champions of England at Stamford the Blue’s home.

Chelsea boys started with a good start but Chelsea had their spirit melt after the red card at the end of first half, Chelsea Andrea’s Christensen dropped and the Blues suffered a defensive game up to 90mins.

Frank Lampard in post match interview drop his thoughts about the game:
Lampard says we were solid in the first half even if we could have done more with the ball, and the red card changed the game. On Kepa’s mistake, he said it was clear.

He adds the keeper has to keep working and have support around him.

Lampard reports Willy Caballero will start against Barnsley on Wednesday and that was always the plan. He says everyone makes mistakes in football and Kepa has to keep working hard to try and cut them out.

Chelsea new boys Timo Werner and Kai Havertz played their second game in Blue’s shirt, had a nice game going on until red card changed the game and their position as well.

Kai Havertz played 45mins game and was substituted to bring on Chelsea center back Fikayo Tomori in order to cover up Christensen position at the defense.

Chelsea Jorginho missed a chance to bring the game back as Liverpool Allison Becker denied his penalty shot.

Frank Lampard heads straight for Carabao Cup  as he trains the rest of his lads for his next premier league game.
