A teenager who climbed the 10,500 feet Oregon’s mount hood which is one of the highest and loftiest mountains, located at about 80 kilometers South east of Portland on the border that is around Clackamas and Hood river countries survives!!
It was an event that nearly claimed the life of the teenager if not for the intervention of the rescue team that came just right in time. The whole rescue process took hours but he was successfully brought out without much injury.
According to police report, the 16 year old teen in company of his friends climbed together and stumbled on a very terrible location popularly referred to as “the devil’s kitchen”.
He was trying to get through the pearly gates section of the mountain but eventually lost his hold and fell down there.
In an interview, the county Sherrif, Lt. Brian Jensen described the mountain as a very dangerous location which needs technical skills and equipment to get up there.
