AOC Blasted by Leftists for Abandoning her own District

A savage attack on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by a far-left state member from New York is being made.

On Sunday afternoon, Democrat state senator Jessica Ramos lambasted Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter for supposedly never being “present in the neighborhood” that she serves, according to The Daily Wire:

Ramos, the chair of the labor committee of the New York Senate, made the comments in response to a discussion Ocasio-Cortez had online about healthcare.

A tweet from an unrelated Twitter account stated that “a few of the most highly esteemed health policy scholars recently lined up a meeting with AOC’s office to discuss NHS-style healthcare reform.” The staff of AOC was direct in telling them that “we’re not doing healthcare right now.”

According to the report, she is “not practicing healthcare right now” while performing performative resistance art for the camera. People are still dying due to a lack of healthcare even though we are in the thick of two pandemics. This is not combat.

“I’m really sorry to hear this took place. It’s not a reflection of who I am or what I stand for, Ocasio-Cortez said. “I’d appreciate it if you could connect with some specifics. In order for DMs to be open, I’ll follow.

“Maybe if you spent more time in your office and with your team you’d know what goes on,” Ramos continued in a letter addressed to Ocasio-Cortez.

Just letting you know that it would be wonderful if you inhaled our air. What happens with the employee who said this, then, as an employer? Ramos tacked on.

Ocasio-offices Cortez’s in the city are on the same floor as Ramos’, but the congressman hardly ever visits them, Ramos explained in response to criticism she received after she disparaged “AOC.”

Ramos explained, “Our district offices are on the same floor in the same building. She seldom ever shows up in the neighborhood. It is undeniably true.

Following her arrest for obstructing traffic near the U.S. Supreme Court building during a pro-abortion protest, the Bronx Democratic socialist made headlines last week when it appeared she staged being handcuffed.

According to a statement from the U.S. Capitol Police, she was one of 17 Democratic lawmakers detained “for Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding (DC Code 22-1307)”.

Rep. AOC was detained today for supporting abortion rights together with other members of Congress outside the Supreme Court, according to a tweet from her staff.

It happened after the Capitol Police warned demonstrators that they would take action.

First Street, NE is being blocked off by protesters. Because it is illegal to stop traffic, cops will first issue three warnings before starting to make arrests, according to the agency.

“We’ve already issued the required three warnings. We are beginning to make arrests because some of the protesters are refusing to leave the roadway, the agency continued.

The department tweeted once more following the arrests.

For Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding (DC Code 22-1307), we made a total of 34 arrests. 16 members of Congress are among those who have been arrested, it stated.

Due to the fact that it was “an activist-led civil disobedience” action, AOC insisted that what she did was not a “publicity stunt… for a headline.”

So why even participate in disobedience? She went on. “Because media cycles are short, and interest in and urgency over Roe can quickly wane. Observing the situation is necessary. An efficient method for doing that that also requires training is civil disobedience.

She was detained after California Democrat Rep. Judy Chu was also detained by U.S. Capitol Police for crowding, obstructing, or making a person feel uncomfortable during a pro-choice demonstration.

The Capitol and Supreme Court buildings’ neighboring intersection of First Street and Constitution Avenue was reportedly blocked by demonstrators, according to the department. After several warnings to protesters, Capitol police detained 181 people.

“I came out to march for the young rape survivor, the woman who cannot afford to travel to another state for crucial care, and the mother whose life is in jeopardy due to an ectopic pregnancy. In response to her arrest, Chu wrote in a tweet, “I came out to march for all of us.

    • She has no regard for the people she should be serving, only to be a pain in the neck. So far all she has done is cause rioting over abortion, money, she loves causing any disruption, feel really bad for all of you, bless your hearts putting up with her.

  2. Detained and arrested are two entirely different things. All aoc cares about is her 15 minutes of fame. She is doing nothing just like the rest of the politicians in dc other than living it up on our dime.
