GOP Accuses Biden of Stonewalling Hunter Biden and Obama’s Shady W.H. Communications.

Republicans are requesting access to the correspondence between the Obama White House and President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.

The top Republican on the House Oversight Committee reportedly demanded information from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen about first son Hunter Biden’s shady international dealings, accusing the White House of obstructing the panel’s investigation to protect the president, according to the New York Post.

In a letter to Yellen, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) asserted that the Biden administration might be blocking the disclosure of suspicious activity data pertaining to Hunter Biden. In order to prevent money laundering, banks that identify suspiciously big transactions produce reports known as SARs, or suspicious activity reports.

According to Comer, “The Biden Administration is limiting Congress’ access to SARs, and Committee Republicans are looking into whether this change in long-standing practice is driven by efforts to shield Hunter Biden and maybe President Biden from examination.” “The Department of the Treasury has not produced any documents or information, despite the Committee’s request that they be provided ‘no later than June 8, 2022’.”

Prior to that, a number of Republican members of the House Oversight Committee wrote a letter to the Hunter Biden administration asking access to all of the correspondence between that administration and Hunter Biden.

Republicans claimed in the letter that Hunter needed to be looked into because “he is continuing to benefit off” the reputation of his father.

The Republicans on the House Oversight Committee claimed that “Hunter Biden’s contacts throughout the Russian sphere of influence have now become extremely crucial in the fast-moving and expanding Russian war in Ukraine.”

“Hunter Biden’s dealings have drawn attention, and a Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation launched under the Obama Administration has grown to cover a wide range of criminal transgressions and crimes. The DOJ is reportedly looking into Hunter Biden for alleged violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act as well as potential criminal tax evasion and money laundering, according to the New York Times.

We are concerned about whether Hunter Biden will continue to benefit from his status as President Biden’s son as well as whether foreign adversaries may be attempting to exploit questionable business dealings given his foreign business relationships in Russia and Ukraine and the current international environment. NARA might have records from Vice President Biden’s administration that are pertinent to this investigation, they added.

Joe Biden is criticized in the letter for allegedly lying about his involvement in Hunter’s business affairs. The MPs declared that “the evidence is now obvious” that he was likely involved and not just aware.

They asked for:

From January 20, 2009, through January 20, 2017, all correspondence and documents between the Vice President’s Office and relatives or allies of the Biden family that mention or relate to Russia or Ukraine;

From January 20, 2009, to January 20, 2017, all correspondence and documents originating from or mentioning the Executive Office of the President or Office of the Vice President that mention Elena Baturina or Yuri Luzhkov;

any and all records and correspondence held by NARA that mention or concern Hunter Biden, the Ukraine, or Russia;

All records and correspondence on Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Russia and/or Ukraine between the State Department and the office of the then-Vice President Biden.

He has managed a Ukrainian energy conglomerate, sold cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, connected his father with Kazakhstani oil oligarchs, and avoided the conviction of a Romanian real estate tycoon on bribery charges, among other things.
