President Trump’s acquittal was nearly entirely along party lines. All but one Republican voted to acquit Trump, but all Democrat voted to convict him. Sen. Mitt Romney was the only Republican that broke with his party and voted to remove Trump from office by convicting him on abuse of power.
The final result came almost two weeks of a Senate trial with series of arguments, questions from Senators which lasted for hours and almost four months after the impeachment investigation began. Democrats find themselves at a crossroads after Wednesday’s acquittal of Trump, torn between continuing inquiry into a president they always refer to as a danger to democracy and a desire to concentrate on health care and other issues more likely to resonate with voters.
A deeply divided Senate acquitted President Donald Trump at the end of his impeachment trial on Wednesday, with some Senators concluding the accusations that he abused the power of his office and some concluded that he obstructed Congress.
As President Trump took a victory lap at the White House, Democrats were grappling with how to balance their policy agenda and their determination to continue aggressive investigations of a president they see as a threat to the country.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi argued, that in trying to use Ukraine to gain an advantage in the 2020 election, the president gave them no choice but to protect and defend the Constitution and oath of office they take. While some say that President Trump’s acquittal will embolden both Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff, the lead House impeachment manager, insisted the inquiry and trial had, at the very least, increased scrutiny of a president who ordinarily feels no constraints.
“To those who would say that the president will now feel unbound, he already felt unbound,” Schiff said.
“I think the spotlight that is on him will be very hot for him to handle.” Pelosi also added.
The American people has called for Nancy Pelosi to step down because she and Adam Schiff can no longer be trusted to stand behind the President and back him on important matters that involve the USA. Their actions against President Trump have become treasonous.
She pushed a prosecution plot against Trump in form of an impeachment. She kept on delaying the articles of impeachment for several days. She also made attempt to delegitimize the Senate trial procedure.
She recently watched her plans to eliminate Trump from office fail.
The problem with this impeachment was the interference of public servants getting involved
in matters that is the sole mandate of the CIC.

The way I see it, the Democratic leadership should be prosecuted for abuse of power namely for the process of impeachment, by way of due process violations regarding POTUS rights.
The entire impeachment process was outside established protocols put in place by the founding Fathers. The violations were specific and deliberate. Pelosi, Schiff & countless other Democrats participated in what they knew to be a baseless impeachment. The only defense for them would be incompetence which still would be insufficient to side step the impeachment process in the manner we all witnessed.
