Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer has been imploring President Trump to put a military expert in charge of distributing medical gear to fight the pandemic. He has also been pushing Trump to use the Defense Production Act regularly to produce more ventilators and medical masks due to the rising cases and deaths.
President Trump addressed the issue and slammed Chuck Schumer saying he will “fight back” anyone when accused or criticized him, stating that hr expects as many as 100,000 deaths in America, and possibly even more.

Trump however suggested the minority leader “should have pushed harder” to ensure New York had adequate supplies to deal with the crisis since it is the epicenter of the domestic coronavirus outbreak.
Trump has been generally accused by Democrats for not quickly putting into use the Defense Production Act. President Trump came under intense pressure used the authority to compel General Motors to produce ventilators last week.
