President Donald Trump announced on twitter that he will sign an executive order temporarily suspending immigration to the US, as the nation battles coronavirus. He referred to the pandemic as an “an attack from the invisible enemy”, stating that there is a need to protect the jobs of Americans.
In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!

Over the last four weeks, more than 22 million Americans have lost their jobs. That amounts to roughly as many jobs as employers had added over the previous years.
It has been recorded that 787,000 cases of coronavirus are confirmed and more that 42000 deaths has also been recorded according to John Hopkins University.
The decision made by President Trump might have drastic effect but it is not clear who would be affected. Last month, the US suspended almost all visa processing, including for immigrants, because of the outbreak.
