Again, Schumer Blows Hot On Trump’s Administration; Calls For Hearing On His ‘Abject Failure’ Amid Coronavirus Pandemic.

Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer dealt a heavy blow on the Trump administration for his failure to implement the coronavirus relief packages passed by Congress properly.

He stated that he will call on the Senators to commence hearings next week.

“This administration has been an abject failure at implementing most of these laws, all too often, it seems like the president’s ego is at stake”, Schumer said.

Schumer also called for Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and other small Business Administration administrator Jovita Carranza to testify about reports that big businesses such as the Los Angeles Lakers, a basketball franchise with an estimated value of $4.4 billion, received Paycheck Protection Program loans that were supposed to go to small businesses.

However, Schumer enjoined McConnell to inform his colleagues to reconvene on May 4 for the oversight hearings.
