President Donald Trump says White House ‘fading out’ Social Distancing Guidelines set to Lapse Thursday

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the government will be “fading out” the federal social distancing guidelines to decrease the spread of coronavirus that are to lapse on Thursday.

The “30 Days to Slow the Spread” guidelines was implemented by The White House in March, extending the strategy the White House announced early last month that included guidance on working from home, social distancing, frequent hand washing and avoidance of unnecessary travels.

The 30 days are set to lapse on Thursday, April 30, and are not likely to be extended.

The president said to newsmen from the Oval Office today (Wednesday) that the White House will be “fading out” the guidelines.

The Vice President, Mike Pence emphasized that those guidelines are “very much incorporated in the guidance.”

The “fading out” of the White House social distancing guidelines becomes necessary as the states across the nation commence Phase 1 to reopen their economies despite the COVID-19 crisis.

The White House, earlier this month, laid out guidelines to reopen the economy, and passed the decision on when to move to each phase to governors and local officials.

The Trump administration’s guidelines outline makes provision for individuals, businesses, health care workers and more in three phases in reopening the economy,
As of Wednesday, the U.S. reported more than 1 million positive cases of Corona virus disease and more than 58,900 deaths.

  1. I think President Trump is right, we already went pass the thirty day mark. What happened to
herd immunity? That’s the way we have always done when there was a new virus. We have
complied because our President asked us to. Do not think we are going to be docile and keep
staying in. If it wasn’t for the media making this worst than it was, many people would not panic
at every little thing. Those deaths I am certain are not just from covid, every year there a lot
of death from various health problems, I find it interesting that everyone this year is dying
only from covid, what does that say? Thank you President Trump and Vice President Pence
for being who you are and standing up for the American people. One other thing, GET those 5Gs
out of here, they are killing people, get rid of those, our internet is fast enough, stop this insane move one your
    people.
