House Passes The Most Exorbitant Bill In History.

The House of  Reps. passed a record-breaking bill of $3 trillion Covid-19 relief package. This bill passed has been the the most exorbitant one approved in history, while the Democrats emphasized that it is the best response needed to help fight the outbreak and economic crisis.

Nancy Pelosi in her speech expressed her delight after the bill was passed.

I’m thrilled, I’m so proud of my members. They just did something so monumental for the American people, for their health, for their lives, for their livelihood, and for our democracy. We couldn’t be more thrilled,” Nancy Pelosi said.

Fourteen Democrats went against their party and voted down the bill, saying the relief measure didn’t go far enough to provide relief to millions of Americans who are struggling due to the crisis.

On the other hand, one Republican, Rep. Peter King  supported the bill because of the relief the measure would give to state and local governments.
