Former president Barack Obama sure recognizes power of education.
Obama made video calls to three Chicago Public Schools teachers to render his support during national Teacher Appreciation Week.
There’s no limit to the devotion I’ve seen in teachers like these @ChiPubSchools educators. Their dedication shapes the best parts of who we become. I couldn’t be more thankful for their work, especially as they shift lessons online to keep students on track during this crisis. pic.twitter.com/xYECcrAxdE

He also spoke teachers from Parkside Community Academy, Kellman Academy and Benito Juarez Community Academy.
Daniel Michmerhuizen, a teacher from Benito Juarez Academy could not conceal how overwhelmed and overjoyed he was for speaking with the Former president.
Brewton, a teacher from Parkside Community Academy expressed her passion for teaching.
“I didn’t grow up in one of the best neighborhoods, and didn’t have the two-parent household, so my school was my outlet. So I said to myself, how can I give back to those that actually helped me growing up?” She said.
Obama complimented everyone of them for their tireless efforts in giving the kids the best.
Omg this man was the greatest President ever. Smart, educated, classy, respectful of all people and we need him back. Joe Biden will be a good choice for this country and the world!!!!!
