Chelsea Headlines: Blame Lampard Over Kai Havertz Debut Says Pundit; Pulisic and Werner Injury Boost Ahead of Liverpool.

Chelsea clash at Brighton ended 3:1 in favour of Frank Lampard side, great display from the Blue Boys and nice job pure executed as Reece James scores his first premier league goal leaving the pitch with an assist too.

Timo Werner made his debut and was good, made some good runs in behind, won a penalty taken by Jorginho, had limited service, I’m happy and have no concerns about him as his display and style of play was great.

Kai Havertz Disappointing Night.

Lining up in an unfavoured position on the right side of the Blues attack, the £70m man didn’t have the brightest of debuts against Brighton

A look at Kai Havertz’s Chelsea debut. Less than a week to prepare with his new team, but a disappointing night. Certainly one for him to shake off.

Kai Havertz also made his debut yesterday night, it was a disappointing night for the German midfielder, Havertz struggled out on the right, Frank Lampard should have placed him in his original position or he should’ve played #10.

Fans are hoping to get back stronger as new signing Hakim Ziyech who has not made his debut will close up the gap as he plays Right wing perfectly.

Hopefully the team will take a lot of confidence from this win. Kai Havertz was a little disappointing but playing in the Premier League is not easy & it will take him time to adapt. The real test is the next game against Liverpool.

Lampard has to play him in his best position and we need to make him our official playmaker. With the little I saw of him today, I know Kai Havertz will rule the PL.

Lampard on Timo Werner Performance, and Christian Pulisic Injury Boost.

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard after the match praised Timo Werner for a job well done, reports on his mild injury after the tackle that won the penalty for Chelsea and hands Christian Pulisic injury boost as chelsea plays against the defending champions on Sunday.

“Lampard says he was really pleased with Timo Werner’s performance, notably his speed and quality. He pinpoints his movement as being key to tonight’s victory.”

Werner has made a perfect debut for the Blues as he filled his boots well.

Lampard says Werner got a dead leg in the penalty incident, but should be fine for next week. He adds Christian Pulisic had a bit of discomfort in the last few days and his progress will be monitored in the coming days.

Fans are hoping to see a perfect Chelsea squad as they battle Liverpool on Sunday clash. Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech hoping to be back before Sunday, Hakim Ziyech will love to battle his injury before sunday as chelsea fans can’t wait to pair him up with his team-mates.
