Progressive State Attorney Andrew Warren was suspended on Thursday as a result of his refusal to uphold Florida law, according to an announcement from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Warren is another follower of George Soros who favors punishing only the victims rather than the criminals.
In a statement, the DeSantis campaign stated:
“We are suspending Andrew Warren, the state’s attorney for the 13th Circuit, who is backed by Soros and has promised not to uphold the law,” the statement reads.
Warren was cited by DeSantis for promising not to enforce Florida’s abortion and child sex change laws. Warren allegedly pledged to launch a policy of “presumptive non-enforcement,” according to DeSantis.
The suspension was announced by DeSantis in Tampa:
Because of this, “we are today suspending State Attorney Andrew Warren, effective immediately. You have violated your duty, you have neglected your duty, and you are displaying a lack of competence to be able to perform those duties.”
The Florida constitution grants the governor, not the state attorneys, the right to veto legislation. We won’t permit this legal-ignorance pathogen, which has spread across the nation, to establish itself in the state of Florida.

State attorneys have a responsibility to prosecute crimes as defined by Florida law, not to selectively enforce laws in accordance with his personal agenda, according to DeSantis. “It is my responsibility to uphold the highest standards for Florida’s citizens when it comes to elected officials.”
In Florida, the governor has the authority to suspend the state attorney for misconduct, malfeasance, neglect of duty, intoxication, incompetence, inability to perform official duties on a long-term basis, or for committing a felony. Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. are other cities with Soros-funded prosecutors where crime rates have sharply increased.
Susan Lopez has been appointed by DeSantis to take Warren’s place as state attorney until the suspension is lifted or a permanent replacement is appointed.
Ron De Santis is exactly the kind of leader America needs in every State as well as in all of Congress, in DOJ, the FBI and the White House.
