Federal Appeals Court Orders Immediate Dismissal Of Michael Flynn’s Case.

It was a moment of victory for Michael Flynn as  federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that the U.S. District Judge immediately dismiss his case. He was President Trump’s national security adviser.

In 2017, Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI but the DOJ filed a motion early last month to dismiss the criminal charges against him, during investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

President Trump’s appointee Neomi Rao suggested that the case would intrude the branch’s prerogatives to control criminal prosecutions if it is allowed to continue. She also said that it was improper for the U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan to schedule a hearing because there was no reason to doubt the government’s decision to reverse course.

In a tweet, Trump celebrated the ruling and he also celebrated last month when the DOJ filed a motion to dismiss the criminal charges against Michael Flynn.
