As they perceived impeachment, Democrats simultaneously swept the leaker story under the carpet while guarding their whistleblower’s identity jealously.
Republican congressman, Loiue Gohmert was asked why its so important for the Democrats and the co-conspirator to hide thier identity, he replied, “whistleblower statutes were put in place to protect people who are in the government from having retaliation against him when the identity comes out, that’s why whistleblower statutes are necessary”.
