“I Was Wrong ” James Comey Said As He Defends FBI’s FISA Use

Days after IG confirms FISA abuses when the FBI investigated the Trump campaign, the former FBI director James Comey claimed that he was vindicated in declaring that the FBI “did nothing wrong”.

He also noted that the FBI set the way two years while the president and his followers lied about the institution and finally the truth gets told, which he said it’s the most important thing.

He admitted that Chris Wallace was right and he was wrong and over-confident in the procedures that the FBI and justice have built for over two decades

The ex-FBI chief said “I thought they were robust enough,  It is incredibly hard to get a FISA, I was over-confident, so he was right and I was wrong”.

James Comey has kept writing off this little inconsistency, his little mistakes. He was the same person that assured everyone for two years that no one did anything wrong at the FBI and that all the FISA procedures were ‘followed ‘.

This report was the IG’s finding that the FBI had deliberately gone around all of the safeguards that have been set up to protect all the civil liberties of the United States which is as big a violation as it gets when talking about law enforcement.
