On the state level, Democratic governors and mayors have stepped up their opposition to so-called “sanctuary” laws, which prohibit local police from cooperating with federal immigration officials — even going so far as to provide free health care to illegal immigrants in California.
Democratic leaders in Washington have refused to collaborate with President Donald Trump and Republicans in the same manner that they collaborated with Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama in implementing comprehensive border security measures during the early 2000s. One Democrat Rashida Tlaib who is of Palestinian descent is now publicly proposing that her party embrace an “open borders” policy that decriminalizes illegal border crossings. Tlaib is not alone in her support for this policy.
To that end, a number of Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who is the third in line to the president, offered ‘advice’ on Thursday to illegal immigrants who had been targeted by the operations on how to avoid being apprehended by ICE officers.

The Speaker then went on to discuss her “know your rights” campaign for illegal immigrants, which she conducted behind closed doors.
Consequently, just for clarity, the Speaker of the House is instructing those who are in the nation illegally and have been ordered out of the country by a valid federal court acting under existing law on how to continue breaching our laws while escaping deportation.
However, Pelosi’s service under a president who is a self-proclaimed criminal makes her feel like she has the right to commit this crime.
