Netflix Are Set To Release Michelle Obama’s Post- White House Documentary

It has been announced by Netflix that there would be a release of a documentary about Michelle Obama’s post  White House life in order to pick up her best selling memoir.

Her best selling memoir titled Becoming” was released in 2018 and sold over 1.4 million copies in its first week.

The first trailer for “Becoming” which will be due by Monday was disclosed, and it includes a scenario where Michelle Obama appeared at an event, and speaking about how she is trying to readjust to a life outside the political sphere.

“Things that once felt simple, like going to see a friend, sitting with someone who is hurting, embracing someone new,  are now not simple at all. But I’m here for you. Empathy is our lifeline here, it’s what will get us to the other side. Let’s use it to redirect our attention toward what matters most, reconsider our priorities, and find ways to better remake the world in the image of our hopes.

I treasure the memories and that sense of connection now more than ever, as we struggle together to weather this pandemic, as we care for our loved ones, tend to our communities, and try to keep up with work and school while coping with huge amounts of loss, confusion, and uncertainty”.Michelle Obama said.

She also applauded the director Nadia Hallgren, a documentary cinematographer who is making her feature directorial debut with the project.
