After what Paul Pelosi did during the traffic stop where he was charged with a DUI, a law enforcement organization in California is furious and considering stripping him of his membership.
The husband of House Speaker and California Representative Nancy Pelosi reportedly displayed his membership card to the officers during the traffic stop in May, according to Fox News.
According to the California Highway Patrol 11-99 (CHP 11-99) Foundation, any member who uses the organization’s name or property when in contact with law enforcement is in breach of the terms and conditions of the group.
According to the foundation’s policy, any attempt to use membership in exchange for “preferential treatment” in interactions with law enforcement will result in immediate termination, Fox News reported.
When we have all the information, we will assess Mr. Pelosi’s membership status, according to group spokesperson Laura Reed, who spoke to Fox News. “We will revoke his membership if it is determined that he violated our terms and conditions, and we would request that all membership items be returned as they are property of the 11-99 Foundation.”
She added, “We would issue a refund of any contribution he’s made to the Foundation once we receive those items.
These cards are used to identify our members at various open and private events as well as to demonstrate membership in and support of the CHP, according to the spokeswoman.
The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Paul Pelosi, made an appearance in court on Wednesday after being accused of DUI back in May.
Pelosi was charged with driving while intoxicated and causing injury and driving with a blood alcohol content of.08% or more.
Paul Pelosi was arraigned on DUI charges in a Napa County court by a defense attorney.
On behalf of her client, the attorney Amanda Bevins entered a not guilty plea to both counts.
Pelosi is scheduled to return to court on August 23 at 9 a.m. PT and will continue to be free on his own recognizance.

Paul Pelosi’s DUI arrest resulted in a mugshot being made public by California law enforcement in June.
Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram tweeted, “Police release booking photo of Speaker Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi from late May after he was arrested for DUI.” According to Napa County, it is up to the police whether to make mugshots public or not. Not DA.”
According to that policy, Mr. Pelosi was treated the same as every other person released from County Jail, according to Napa County law enforcement officials. No state law specifically calls for the release of mug shots or booking photos, but local laws on the subject may differ.

After his arrest in late May, Pelosi’s lawyer issued a statement.
Paul Pelosi was involved in a traffic accident on Saturday night, and the attorney claimed that several news reports about the incident contained inaccurate information. “Mr. Pelosi was at a dinner party at friends’ house close to Oakville.”
At 10:15 on Saturday night, he left the party and drove to his nearby home. The statement continued, “He was by himself in his car. His car was struck on the back fender by a Jeep traveling southbound on Highway 29 after coming to a stop at the intersection of Walnut Drive and Highway 29 and traveling across Highway 29 to Oakville Cross Road.
“A prior driving offense erroneously attributed to Mr. Pelosi is untrue and likely refers to another person with the same name,” the attorney claimed, adding that Paul Pelosi was “fully cooperative with California Highway Patrol officers.”
The statement concluded, “There are also inaccurate reports that misreport the timing of events.” “Mr. Pelosi departed the dinner gathering on Saturday at 10:15. A few minutes after that, the incident took place.
In a statement at the time, Speaker Pelosi’s office stated that the 80-year-old California lawmaker would not be commenting on the alleged crime.
According to a statement from a spokesman, Drew Hammill, “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
Additionally, a California district attorney has refused to make public the police body cam footage of Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, being taken into custody.
Additionally, it was revealed last month that Paul Pelosi allegedly “killed” his older brother in 1957 when he lost control of a car while still a teenager.
