President Trump Restrict Entry From Brazil As Coronavirus Cases Rapidly Increases.

President Trump announced that the White House would restrict entry of none U.S citizens who have being in Brazil with the past two weeks.

This declaration by the president made an exemption to people with green card, foreigners, permanent residents, and family members of U.S. citizens.

According to the data released by the ministry of Health stated that the confirmed cases of coronavirus in Brazil has risen to more than 360,000 from the previous weeks and it’s still increasing rapidly. It is the third highest number of confirmed cases in the world.

The White House Spokeswoman, Keighley McEnany in her speech stated that President Trump made the decision in order to protect the country from people who have beven in Brazil during the period of 14 days.

“Today, the President has taken decisive action to protect our country by suspending the entry of aliens who have been in Brazil during the 14-day period before seeking admittance to the United States, As of May 23, 2020, Brazil had 310,087 confirmed cases of COVID-19, which is the third highest number of confirmed cases in the world. Today’s action will help ensure foreign nationals who have been in Brazil do not become a source of additional infections in our country. These new restrictions do not apply to the flow of commerce between the United States and Brazil,” She said.

The death toll in Brazil has increased, throwing hospitals in the state of confusion.
