President Trump’s Response To The Civil Unrest; The Major Fear Of Republican Senators.

President Trump has been aggressively responding to the nation-wide civil unrest in the U.S., causing a lot of anxiety to Senate Republicans.

The major reason for their fear is the fact that his aggressive response is tearing apart middle-of-the-road voters who are keeping their majority after the election.

Initially, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that the only key to retaining the Senate majority in 2020 is by winning over the women and college students countryside. But within the past months they feared that Trump is blowing up their plans by focusing solely on his base.

Republican Senators complained about how difficult it is to keep the majority due to the slow response to the pandemic by Trump’s administration, suggesting that he needs help to heal the nation.
