Queen Elizabeth Finally Breaks Silence On Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Decision To Step Down.

Queen Elizabeth II finally wayning in the MEGXIT drama and it seems she is going to grant Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thier request to step down as senior members of the royal family. The Queen finally breaks silence after hosting a family meeting with the four royal household which include Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry to talk about their decision.

The Queen speaking during the meeting says she is completely in support of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future plans but told them that there is more work to be done and final decision would be reached soon. Shortly after, she released a lengthy statement to the public.

“Today my family had a very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family.

Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working members of the royal family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family. 

Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the sussexes will spend time in Canada and in the UK.

These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is so much work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in coming days”.

 

In the Queen’s statement, she said that they have decided to take a step back from the royal family but they will still remain valued members of her family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also wrote that they have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role and they also intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.
