SEN. RAND PAUL INTRODUCES RESOLUTION TO BAN JOE BIDEN’S SOCIALIST AGENDA

Republican lawmaker senator Rand Paul introduced legislation that will stop President Joe Biden and his administration from all kinds of executive overreach and hand over legislative authority back to congress.

Sen. Rand Paul said it is very necessary for the federal rulemaking process. The senator also argued that the REINS Act would require any executive branch regulation to come to Congress for a vote if it has more than $100 million of economic impact. This will include the jobs-crushing occupational safety and health administration vaccine mandate.

The executive branch has siphoned lawmaking authority away from Congress for too long.

Cammack said “The REINS Act is a measure that ensures Congress is the only lawmaker in the United States. This bill reasserts Article I authority that vests all legislative power in Congress and provides necessary oversight of the executive rulemaking process.”

This latest resolution will require every new “major rule” proposed by federal agencies to be approved by both the House and Senate before going into effect. The bill would also preserve Congress’ authority to disapprove of a “nonmajor rule” through a joint resolution

“Advocates of limited and accountable government thank Rep. Cammack for her leadership in introducing the REINS Act. Oversight of the executive branch is one of the most serious ways that Congress must reassert its constitutional authority. The Constitution asserts the legislative branch’s authority to make laws. We have to hold every presidential administration responsible for the rulemaking process regardless of party,” noted Cammack. “It’s about making sure the executive branch does not unduly overstep its vested authority through a necessary system of checks and balances,” President of Freedom Works Adam Brandon said.

However, Governor of Florida DeSantis has warned Joe Biden and his administration that they are “playing with fire”, as regards the vaccine mandate. The governor who has taken a very strong stand against Joe Biden’s administration has been very vocal about his intention to defend the people of Florida against all forms of oppression from the federal government. In a recent press briefing, the governor threatened to send all illegal aliens to the President’s home state if he doesn’t stop flying them into Florida by night.
