Following the release of a long term report from the Justice Department’s Inspector General into the origin of the bureau’s Russia investigation, The Attorney General condemned the FBI for their inexplicable behavior towards the inquiry. He called it a “completely baseless” conduct.
He also stated that they disputed the vital conclusions and relied on irrelevant proofs in embarking on the investigation.
Also, it was reviewed by Michael Horowitz that during the probe by the FBI, there was completely no form of political bias despite the fact that there were a lot of errors made during the process.
In a closed-door meeting, Bill Barr insisted that it is very difficult to look into the matter and not think it was a gross abuse.”I just think this was very flimsy,” he said.
